What is the best practice for configuring paper trays on printers & MFPs?

How to Properly Configure Paper Trays

Properly configured paper trays will reduce errors and increase end-user productivity.  It is best to configure the paper trays on the printer/MFP for specific paper sizes & types, as opposed to when printing from the computer selecting a specific tray.  This way, when sending a job, end-users will specify the paper size & paper type (i.e. letterhead), and the printer will automatically know which tray to get the paper from.
