When looking to purchase HP LaserJet printers, figuring out which model is best for you may not be as easy as you think. The “monthly recommended volume” that Hewlett-Packard publishes for its printers is based upon durability, not cost. There are many times where it will make sense to spend a little more money on a higher capacity printer because the ongoing operating costs are lower, thus in the end it will be more cost efficient.
Hewlett-Packard runs instant rebates on a monthly basis, and every now and then we run inventory specials.

These models may seem like the right choice due to their low prices - but if something goes wrong with them, you have no recourse!
When they are under warranty you need to send them back to HP directly for a replacement (which means you need to spend time packing, unpacking & setting up the printer replacement).
When they are no longer under warranty, there is nothing you can do! We cannot repair them because parts are not available, and even if they were, the cost in labor is often close to if not more than the printer itself!
